Faculty development programs (FDPs) are proven successful in improving teaching skills in higher
education. FDP produces a positive effect on student's academic achievement as well as the different
methods to assess FDP effectiveness. FDP presents its ideal structure and features that make FDP
effective and outlined the barriers to its successful implementation as well as the future vision. FDPs
produce promising outcomes in the learning and teaching practices and recommend that teachers in higher
education should attend FDP training activities on regular basis and that the scope of plan FDPs should
extend beyond the discipline of the profession, to include social skills necessary for collaboration,
professional growth as well as management, and leadership abilities. The Continue employment and
advancement of faculty members depend upon growth in teaching practices; thus, there is a need for
faculty across all disciplines to understand the best instructional practices and the strategies that
develop effective teaching behaviors and skills.
The Program aims at enhancing the academic and intellectual environment in the Institutions by providing
faculty members with enough opportunities to pursue research and also to participate in
seminars/conferences/workshops. Participation in such a program would enable faculty members to update
their research and pedagogical skills. The programs focus on enhancing functional area expertise
improving one's classroom delivery both as a teacher and trainer enhancing abilities for conducting
meaningful research. It is going to be a pioneering conference to bring together all renowned experts
from the discipline of education. It is an initiative in the process of emerging needs of school
education and services. This initiative shall be of great benefit to Schools Principals, Counselors,
Senior Faculties & educationalists to participate and exchange valuable thoughts in the process of
evolving effective strategies toward child development and meeting the global standards of school
education.
