Eligibility for Admission

Student who have passed the Bachelor Examination in Science, Arts and Commerce form any recognized University by the last date of submission of application for admission and have secured 50% marks. However, the applicants belonging to S.C./S.T/OBC will be allowed to apply if they secure minimum 45% of marks.
Selection for admission will be made through written entrance test followed by counselling.

How to apply for Admission

The intending candidates for the admission will have to apply in a from available at the college counter and CITY OFFICE : F2 Amarnath Complex, Kailash Babu Street, Near Daily Market, Main Road, Ranchi Payment of Rs.600.
It can also be obtained through post by sending a demand draft of Rs. 650.00 in favour of Shaheed Sheikh Bhikhari College of Education payable at Punjab and Sindh Bank, Main Road, Ranchi and a self addressed big size envelope.

Duration of Course

The Courses is for two academic session starting from july each year.
There shall be at least 200 teaching days in a year exclusive of period of admission, examination etc. Beside every trainee shall be required to under go internship in teaching (including practice teaching and skill development) for at least 40 days in nearby secondary / Senior Secondary Schools as per allotment.

How To Apply

Application forms can be had from the college office. It is to be duly filled in by the candidate and submitted in the office along with self attested copies of all relevant documents as details below.

Requisite Documents

Xerox copy of form sale receipt.
Matric/ICSE/CBSE Pass Certificates.
All mark sheets and certificate from matriculation to post graduation levels as applicable.
College Leaving Certificate.
Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/Students) from recognized authority.
If a candidate is physically handicapped , a certificate obtained from appropriate authority should be produced.
Certificate (s) of Co-curricular activities , if any for (NCC/Sport etc.).
Fitness certificate to attend all theory and practical classes during the course and remain present during the course and to complete the entire courses without any disruption from a registered Medical Practitioner (for female candidates only) No exemption no any ground from regular attendance will be allowed.
Residential /Domicile certificate (from appropriate authority)
1. Application forms should be presently the candidate in the office personally.
2. All original certificate should be produced for verification on the day of Counseling.

At the time of admission

All relevant original certificates along with the following must be produced by the candidates for verification at the time of admission

Original Marks sheets of all examinations
College leaving certificate
Registration number of the concerned candidate from the passed university.
Migration Certificate of the University from which the candidate passed Bachelor’s Master’s Degree, if that university is other than Ranchi University
Caste & Income certificate (for SC/ST/BC/OBC).
Residential / Domicile Certificate.
Four copies of recent stamp size colour photographs (Signed by the candidate on the back side)
NCC/Sports Certificate ,if any
Bank Draft in favour of Shaheed Sheikh Bhikhari College of Education payable Panjab and Sindh Bank, Main Road , Ranchi.
